Our Plans for the Future

Major Projects

  • Construction of a water and sea bird complex
    To provide rehabilitation facilities suited to water and sea birds.  The facility is designed and costed.  Sponsors are being sought.
  • Development of regional centres
    Native Animal Rescue recognises the great need amongst wildlife throughout WA and is developing partnerships to provide support to rehabilitation of wildlife in a number regional centres.
  • Conversion of clinic into native animal hospital
    The hospital will support the care of wildlife, provide for training of veterinary and environmental science undergraduates and the wider community and support the regional work of Native Animal Rescue
  • River Connections
    This project, in partnership with WA Police and PCYC is up and running.  The challenge now is to consolidate its funding base into the future.
  • Woylie Connection
    This research project with Murdoch University and DEC is well under way.  Good research data is starting to flow that will be important to the future management of Woylies in WA.
